► Dalí’s Gala is based on Salvador Dalí’s late masterpiece, the surrealistic cookery book Les dîners de Gala, and is a tribute to the great surrealist, whose life and art are indivisible. Salvador Dalí first made a name for himself in a Europe on the brink of the Second World War. His posthumous reputation has centred on his brilliant works, but also on his contradictory public image and forgery scandals.
