Raili Tang

► Raili Tang (born 1950) is an artist who is known for her powerful, expressive and colourful paintings. Tang’s paintings literally glow with the joy of painting. Using powerful brushstrokes and rich colours, she paints surfaces that are almost three-dimensional. On the surfaces, the viewer may detect abstractions, even with figurative subjects. The book provides a retrospective entity of Tang’s works from the early 1980s to the present day.
