Anna-Maija Aarras

► Anna-Maija Aarras (born 1948) is a textile artist from Turku who has followed a long career and has held numerous exhibitions of her work both in Finland and abroad. The Finnish Cultural Foundation awarded its Eminentia Grant in 2008. Presenting a retrospective view of Aarras’ work, Outre-Mer was published in connection with an exhibition held at the Turku Art Museum in 2011. The book features work by Anna-Maija Aarras from the years 1979–2011.
