► Mika Karhu (b. 1969), Doctor of Fine Arts, is an artist who addresses painful themes and refuses to let us off easily. His work reflects on issues of broad social significance: social problems, forgotten members of the community, the raw traumas of history. The Forgottenis an exhibition featuring a selection of portraits that poignantly capture the presence of people who have been subjected to abuse and injustice: people wronged, overlooked and forgotten. Karhu’s work portrays disremembered pain and tragic loss of life.
