Harri Kalha is an award-winning researcher, non-fiction writer, and visual artist whose signature medium is collage. His works celebrate the tactile beauty of traditional craft and the evocative charm of old paper. Blending melancholy with irony, his absurd and dreamlike images offer a mischievous commentary on art history, drawing their raw material from vintage art books. Kalha studied at the Helsinki University Drawing School and the Académie Roederer in Paris. He earned his doctorate in art history from the University of Helsinki in 1997 and has since published numerous works of art scholarship. His collages have been exhibited widely in Finland and abroad. This volume marks his first art book.
